Welcome to McFarland Creek Lamb Ranch!
We are a couple of hopelessly addicted sheep ranchers who live in the beautiful Methow Valley of North Central Washington State. We started with a flock of Romney sheep, and added a Cormo ram a few years ago. The fiber that results from their offspring is a perfect combination of softness, strength and luster that is a real pleasure to spin and knit with. Our garden has grown to produce much of the dye material that is used to create unique colors on both our white and natural colored fibers. We breed for color, and always have a variety of beautiful grey, brown and charcoal black fiber as well.
So come on in and browse around! We add yarn and fiber products to our on-line store as we make them, so if you don't see what you need, check back later, or e-mail us to ask about a specific item or color you are looking for. If you want to get on our meat list, you can click here to submit your contact information. Curious about what it's like to live on a small sheep ranch? Check out our Blog. We welcome feedback and comments.

Spring is here!
We have finished lambing, and now have 20 little rascals running around just looking for ways to get into trouble. Fortunately, their moms are patiently keeping them in line. We are getting ready to start washing this year's fleeces, so stay tuned for more fabulous colors!
To read more about how we handle and dye our fiber, click here. Our yarn can be found at the following stores:
The Mazama Store (Mazama, WA)
The Methow Store (Methow, WA)
The Homespun Pear (Leavenworth, WA)
and our on-line store where you can see our full line of colors.
